How and when to update the Somnox App

Mobile apps are updated regularly to ensure they keep working properly and without any errors. This also applies to the Somnox App - therefore Somnox will update the app regularly so you can be sure that you get the best experience. In this article, you can read how to update the Somnox App.

Updating the Somnox App

iPhone/iOS

To perform an update on an iPhone, please follow the next steps:

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone

  2. Click on the profile icon in the right corner of the screen

  3. Scroll down to find the list with your apps. Search for the Somnox App

  4. Click on Update next to the app icon to only update the Somnox App or click on Update all to perform all available updates in one go

It is also possible to perform updates automatically. Your phone will perform updates automatically the moment they are released in the App Store. To activate this function, please follow the next steps:

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone

  2. Click on App Store

  3. Switch on automatic app updates

Android

To perform an update on an Android phone, please follow the next steps:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone

  2. Click on the profile icon in the upper-right part of the screen

  3. Click on Manage apps and device

  4. On the top of the screen select Manage

  5. Click on Updates available

  6. Select the Somnox App, then click on the image at the top of the screen next to the bin, that shows a V with an arrow around it

It is also possible to have updates performed automatically. Your phone will perform updates automatically the moment they are released in the Play Store. To activate this function, please follow the next steps:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone

  2. Click on the profile icon in the upper right of the screen

  3. Click on Settings > Network preferences > Auto-update apps > then select if you want this function to work over any network or just when connected to a WiFi network (recommended to save data)
