A factory reset, also known as hard reset or master reset, is a software restore of an electronic device to its original system state by erasing all of the information stored on the device.

A factory reset is not something you should perform on your own initiative. If you are experiencing problems, please contact our Customer Service and they will help you troubleshoot Somnox 2. Performing a factory reset could be part of that process.

In order to perform a factory reset press the power button, the plus button, and the minus button at the same time and hold for at least 10 seconds. The charger may be plugged into Somnox 2 while performing the reset. This does not influence the reset.

When the factory reset has been done properly, Somnox 2 will switch on again. The status light above the power button will turn green.
